In New Orleans we had beignets at Cafe du Monde. They are like doughnuts, kind of like bread, except that they have sugar all over them. They are delicious.
Cafe du Monde only has beignets, with hot chocolate, and coffee. They don’t have anything else!
The restaurant has been here more than a century!
They never close, because everyone wants to come. The two times we went there to have beignets it was crowded.
Beignets are yummy!
We even got to see how they’re made!
