It’s a very different lifestyle, living in an RV. It’s a smaller space and we’re always moving. But it’s fun!
Everything changes. When you move, you need to put in the slides, squishing in your space even more. We have to do that because we’d take up three lanes if we didn’t.
It’s kind of like a moving house!
It’s way colder where we are now. Right now we are in Wake Forest, NC in a library.
When we left we had some problems. One of the problems was that our car was too low for the tow dolly, so Mommy drove her car. I offered to go with Mommy to keep her company.
Then as we went our friend Chris’ RV started smoking. I don’t know why. Some random problem. It was too late, so we spent the night at a Walmart. Then the next day we had to get a mechanic and spend a week at Chris’ sister house. I played with my friends there and we went to Rainbow Springs. The water was cooooold. One night we actually camped at Rainbow Springs.
After that we left and stayed at a Cracker Barrel with five billion kitty cats in the parking lot. I thought that was awesome!
Then we went to Santee State Park in South Carolina. We went swimming there and wrestled in the ocean. There were lots of muscles and clams.
When we left we stayed overnight at another Walmart in Fayetteville North Carolina. The next day we went to the Falls Lake State Park in Wake Forest North Carolina, which is where we’re staying now.
This morning we took a walk outside. The weather’s been kind of stormy, but it stopped so we went for a walk. We went down by the beach. I wanted to go swimming, but Mommy said it was too cold. I said I wanted to go swimming later. She said if it gets warmer then we might be able to.
I hope you enjoyed reading my second blog article. Stay tuned for article three!
Who doesn’t love 5 billion kitties in a parking lot??
Dogs don’t!
Did you ever get to go swimming? I reckon the further north you go, the harder it is to swim in October!
Have a great week!
No, I never got to go swimming, although I wanted to!
I love reading your blogs, describing places you stay – even the parking lot of the Cracker Barrel where there were so many kitties.
I also found it very interesting to learn how pulling in the slide outs on your RV
narrows its width from 3 lanes to 1 lane, because the only RVs I’ve traveled in are small ones without pullouts, like my 20′ Roadtrek van.
It’s so interesting how different the weather is in different parts of the country. Los Angeles just had an unusually hot spell, of 3 days in a row of 100 degree tempera-
tures, and the ocean water is still warm.
I miss you! When the slides are in you have to squeeze in to get somewhere.
