The Ghost Town

We were at a ghost town. It was called Desert Center. We saw a bug, or I don’t know what it was. It was bumpy and gray and I think it had pincers.

We were there because we had to stay somewhere for the night. When we go there we looked around and went for a walk. We saw a post office and went inside. It was very old and small. I was surprised it was open!

We also saw a gas station. It wasn’t working. It looked old. The pumps said that the gas cost 36 cents. But now it costs three dollars! I wish I was back in the old days so I could get gas for 36 cents.

And later I followed Cole and Camille. We found a big pole. It was gray. And we saw a big open space. It was shaped as a square. It was almost empty. We wandered around it and looked at moss and there was a cricket or a grasshopper. And it was a Kid Fortress.
