Tomorrow is my birthday! I am so excited! I have asked my friend Chris to take me to the movies and he said yes, if there is one here. If there is a ferris wheel, we’re going to go on that and everyone will come, but probably we need to wait for that.
I’m going to turn 7.
I got to ride on a horsey by myself and I could control it. His name was Prince! That was an early birthday present from Mommy. The horse was so big, the biggest of anyone’s. It felt so great to ride him!
I learned how to make him stop and go. You say “Whoa, horsey!” and pull on the reigns to make him stop. You kick him and make a kissing noise to make him go. The lady who was teaching me helped me to trot! I wanted to stop because I was a little scared. It was fun, but I was bouncing a lot.
The stables also had a cat that I liked. His name was Cricket!
In Baton Rouge, I got to ride on a street car! It wasn’t my first time.
We rode all over and stopped at the capitol building.
We all ran around the Louisiana seal. It was like a big giant coin.
We also went to the tippy top of the capitol building. I looked around and saw cars parked, a museum thing, a big boat, and other things in the city.
Thank you for hearing about my birthday tomorrow!
