Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
As we tour the country, it’s been a blast seeing how different cities celebrate Christmas, enjoying the variation in light displays! Last night we saw the Celebration in the Oaks, an amazing display in the City Park of New Orleans. It was a perfect evening!
This Christmas will be quite different for us, as we’re camped at a state park. The day will be a smaller affair, cozy and sweet, filled with new family traditions. I’m looking forward to it!
I adore our new little tree. We found cute little ornaments along the way to decorate it. Very RV friendly.
May your Christmas be filled with love and joy!
Laura,
MERRY CHRISTMAS! I’m glad to see the photo of the kids with your little Christmas tree, and I was thrilled to read the girls’ blogs (that tell of crocheting Christmas
decorations).
I just got home from a 7 day cruise around 4 Hawaiian Islands, where I also saw different Christmas celebrations. There are Christmas displays in Hawaii, but very few lights and displays outside private homes.
We have a Christmas tree, with a minimum of decorations (and no tinsel). So far Blue, our cat, hasn’t damaged it – although he drinks from the water it’s in, and likes to peek out from under it.
Dave’s took our RV up and parked it again (where he parked it in 2011, 2012, and 2013),
and he’ll sleeping it every night this year until he watches the Rose Parade.
Love, Mom
Hi! Wow, that sounds like an amazing cruise! It’s fun to see how the different regions celebrate Christmas, isn’t it? I’m glad that you and Dave get to enjoy your RV, making good use of it! Merry Christmas. Thank you for all your comments on our blogs!
