We visited a farm where the owners worked very hard every day. They had to feed all the animals, give them water, clean their hooves, cut their nails, and many other things. There were different parts of the farm where different animals were.
This farm had a lot of goats, four doggies, and two horses (one was a miniature horse and the other was a big one). There were also chickens, a llama, sheep, ducks, Silkies and Guineas.
There were also two cats. One was named Patches (who was a Calico cat) and the other was Leo. They were great! I pet them and carried them sometimes. Patches and Leo went on my lap a lot of times. Leo liked to climb along the fence. I also liked to climb the fence like a cat.
There are morning chores on the farm. We got to help them! The first time I was very excited about helping with the morning chores. After that, I was still excited.
We went on a hayride. It was a pickup truck with hay and we got to ride in the back around the farm to the other parts of the farm, like the big house that had all the hay in it.
I got to feed the goats. Cole got to feed the ducks. I also dumped the chicken food. Camille got to pour milk for the cats.
When we left I really wanted to stay for another few nights. I really liked it there. I hope that we can come back one day!
Serena,
I flew to Hawaii on Dec. 18th, and then cruised around (and stopped at) 4 of the islands. I saw lots of waterfalls, and rainbows (even one double rainbow).
Now that I’m home I enjoy seeing the photos you post on your blog, and reading about things you do, like going on a hay ride, and helping with the farm chores.
Love, Grandma
That sounds very cool! I want to go to Hawaii and get pineapples! Merry Christmas!!
