Since I moved into our RV, I’ve opened my eyes to the world a lot more! I had them almost shut when I lived in Florida.
For instance, I really love Houston! There are hundreds of activities here. When I lived in Florida, I knew everything about that place. For instance, if I went to Busch Gardens, I knew all the animals there. I got a little bored of seeing the same ones. I knew exactly what there was there. It was no surprise.
When I visit a zoo in a different city, I don’t know anything about it at all. My mind is blank on it. The zoos all have different animals with different personailities. For instance I saw leopards playing together, chasing each other around. And I could go right up the wall of glass and sit with the Komodo Dragon, all day long (if my parents would let me).
Another example is when I went up north this fall, I discovered a giant artist’s painting all around. There were leaves everywhere that were red, orange and yellow. I’d heard that leaves change colors, but had never seen it before.
We’re living in a painting called Earth, in a museum called Space.
Nature should be famous.
Camille,
How wonderful that a you get to see so many new things. It’s hard for me to think that you never saw leaves turning all those beautiful colors, since I grew up in New York state, where the leaves turn every Fall.
It’s great to learn about the United States by traveling to all the different places you get to visit.
Love,
Grandma
I really do like it, too. It’s a change, but it’s a change for the better!
