My surroundings are beautiful. Grassy plains, grazing cows, the bluest most rippling lake. The reflection like a mirror, I can’t describe the beauty.
I had the thought of showing you guys the RV! The front is where we have to drive our house. Imagine that! You always go somewhere and you drive your house. You sit on your couch and your whole house is moving. I thought it was kind of strange at first, sitting on the couch with my seat belt on and the whole thing is going sideways.
Then there’s Cole’s bed. Cole’s bed, unlike any other bed, goes up and down. For instance, if we’re moving, it has to go up as far as it can go so we have to take all the stuff off before moving our house. But when we’re stopped for the night we need to put it down so Cole can sleep. And we start the whole procedure when we leave again.
And then there’s the slides. The slides are kind of strange. They go in and out. When they are out, it gives us a lot more room. It’s more like a house, but still not quite. When they are in, it’s harder to get around. Especially the bedroom one. You have to climb over Mommy’s bed to get to the far bathroom.
We have two bathrooms, which is a really cool feature, because instead of just sitting there waiting, there is another bathroom. The back bathroom has a magnificent shower. Our whole family could fit it in, but we don’t do that. It’s just that the first time we went into the RV we tested it and found that we all fit!
Then there’s my bedroom, which isn’t really a room. It’s just a bed, but it is my room! We have so little space that it has to be my room, but it’s really comfy and I like it. I can have the curtain shut and no one can see in. Right now I’m trying to install a rule that no one is allowed to mess with my curtain, but it never quite gets put in.
Then there’s Serena’s room, which is below mine. It is basically the same thing. We both have a window, with curtains which are easy to open and shut. Mine won’t stay open. I just look out it once in a while.
There’s a small dining room area with a booth. It has a very small table. Mommy wants to get a bigger one.
Now I have to say good-bye. Good-bye!
(I took most of the pictures that you see in this article!)
Hi Camille,
Thanks for this tour of your RV. Your “bedroom” looks so colorful and cozy!
I’m really impressed that you took all these pictures yourself.
I was sorry that I didn’t get to see your RV when you stayed near Los Angeles,
but now I know what it looks like – inside and out. Thanks for showing me what
Cole’s bed looks like – and I love the first photo (of you on the sofa).
Love, Grandma
